CODS, AMARGADH, WORKSHOP ON HAND HYGIENE DAY Date: 5-5-18
The College of Dental Science & Hospital, Amargadh conducted a lecture and workshop on the occasion of Hand Hygiene day on 5th May, 2018. The speaker on the occasion was Dr. Nikil Jain, Reader, a key opinion leader in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. The Program started at 12:00 p.m. with the inauguration ceremony followed by the Lecture & Demonstration. The program was attended by dignitaries Dr. Rosaiah Kanaparthy- Dean of CODS, Dr. Mohsin Ganchi- Superintendent, all HOD & teaching & non teaching staff of Dental Departments & students.

CDE PROGRAMME Date: 27-4-18
The Department of Conservative and Endodontics conducted a lecture and workshop on ‘Rotary Endodontics’ (with live demo by Endostar E3) The speaker on the occasion was Dr. Kamal Bagda, Professor and HOD of Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital Visnagar, a key opinion leader in Endostar and Technodent. The CDE started at 9:00 a.m. with the inauguration ceremony and lamp lighting which was attended by dignitaries Dr. Rosaiah Kanaparthy- Dean of CODS, Dr.Mohsin Ganchi- Superintendent, Dr.Deepika Mod- HOD of Conservative and Endodontics, Dr.Shriprasad- HOD of Prosthodontics, Dr.Shilpashree- Professor of OMRD, Dr.Varun- HOD of Community Dentistry and Dr.Divya- Administrative Officer, followed by lectures on ‘Rotary Endodontics’ and ‘Management of Curved Canals’ which was attended by more than 150 participants. The workshop was conducted in the afternoon in which 13 participants got a detailed live demo and explanation of ‘Rotary Endodontics’ using Endostar E3 followed by a training session of 2 hrs in which each participant carried out all the steps of ‘Rotary Endodontics’ under the observation and guidance of the speaker and staff of the department.All the participants expressed total satisfaction with the workshop and lectures. All the participants were given certificates of participation.The CDE programme was a success, thanks to the motivation and support of the college authorities and the membjers of the Dental Education Unit.
